1.2. Deposit: Buyer shall pay a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit of $500.00 at the time of signing this Agreement. The deposit shall be applied toward the purchase price and guarantees that Seller will hold the Puppy until it reaches eight (8) weeks of age. Breeder reserves the right at anytime to refund the deposit and void the sale if they do not feel the buyer is a good fit for the puppy.

1.3. Remaining Balance: The remaining balance of $ shall be paid in cash at the time of pickup unless another payment method is discussed and approved by Seller prior to pickup day. Personal checks are not accepted.

1.4. Transportation: If the Puppy is being transported via a carrier or flight nanny, the remaining balance must be paid in full at least 24 hours before the Puppy leaves Seller’s possession.

1.5. Airport Delivery: If Seller meets Buyer or a flight nanny at the local airport, a fee of $100 shall be added to the balance. We are not always available for airport drop offs so please discuss with us options prior to booking a flight.

1.6. Late Pickup: If Buyer is unable to pick up the Puppy at eight (8) weeks of age, Seller will hold the Puppy for up to seven (7) additional days at no cost. Thereafter, a fee of $50.00 per week will apply. If an extended hold is agreed upon, the Puppy must be paid in full on the original agreed pickup date via Zelle or PayPal.

1.7. Failure to Communicate: If Buyer does not respond to Seller’s attempts to schedule pickup and does not pick up the Puppy by the agreed date, the deposit is forfeited and Seller may resell the Puppy.

2. Waitlist Policy

2.1. Paid Waitlist: Joining the paid waitlist requires a $150.00 deposit. Once a suitable Puppy is available, Buyer must pay an additional $350.00 non-refundable deposit to reserve the Puppy until pickup.

2.2. No Suitable Puppy: If Seller does not produce a Puppy matching Buyer’s description within one (1) year, the $150.00 deposit will be refunded upon request.

2.3. Passing on a Puppy: Buyer may pass on one (1) Puppy without penalty. If Buyer passes on a second Puppy that meets their description, all deposits become non-refundable. If you do not respond to us within 24 hours of being notified about an available puppy, we will move to the next person on the list.

3. Health Guarantee

3.1. Initial Health Guarantee: Seller guarantees the Puppy to be in sound health and of good temperament at the time of sale.

3.2. Veterinary Examination: Buyer must take the Puppy to a licensed veterinarian within forty-eight (48) business hours of pickup for a physical examination at Buyer’s expense to keep contract valid.

  • If a licensed veterinarian provides a written and signed diagnosis from this first 48 hour appointment attributing an illness directly to Seller’s care, Buyer may return the Puppy for a replacement Puppy of equal value, or receive a refund of the purchase price minus the deposit.

  • If Buyer chooses to keep the Puppy after such a diagnosis at the 48 hour vet appointment, Seller will issue a refund minus the deposit and the contract will be void. No further expenses will be paid by the breeder.

  • If Buyer fails to obtain the examination within 48 hours, the Puppy is purchased “as-is” and the health guarantee is void.

3.3. One-Year Genetic Guarantee: Seller guarantees the Puppy for one (1) year against death caused by life-threatening genetic defects. In the event of death, a full necropsy report from a licensed veterinarian, notarized and at Buyer’s expense, must confirm the cause as a prenatal genetic defect. Seller’s veterinarian must agree with the diagnosis before a replacement Puppy of equal value and same gender will be provided from the next available litter. Breeder is not responsible for any veterinary expenses associated with the condition.

3.4. Exclusions: The following are not covered under any guarantee:

  • Viruses or parasites (internal or external)

  • Minor conditions such as overbites, colds, allergies, hernias, open fontanel, hypoglycemia, or undescended testicles

  • CDA (Color Dilution Alopecia)

  • Safe containment (no free roaming without fencing or supervision)

  • Regular veterinary care and grooming

4.3. Buyer acknowledges that Puppies are not fully vaccinated until after their 16-week vaccinations and agrees to limit exposure to public/high-traffic areas until that time.

5. Breeding Restrictions

5.1. The Puppy is sold as a companion animal only and is not to be used for breeding. Buyer agrees to have the Puppy spayed or neutered between six (6) months and one (1) year of age, as advised by a veterinarian.

5.2. No registration papers will be provided. Seller will provide proof of the parents’ registration upon request.

5.3. If Buyer breeds this Puppy (male or female), Seller has the legal right to repossess the Puppy and all resulting offspring, with no refund to Buyer, and Buyer will be liable for a $1,500.00 fine plus attorney and court costs.

6. Rehoming Policy

6.1. If Buyer is unable to keep the Puppy, Seller must be notified immediately and given the first right of refusal.
